REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OF 14TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME. (2)

REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OF 14TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME.

THEME: COMPASSION: WORKS OF GOD.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI EHJ.

Mt 9: 32 – 38.

Jesus worked diligently: preaching, teaching, and healing. Not opening my mouth at prayer is like giving permission to the demonic spirit to keep me in silent mode when I should be eagerly praising God and preaching. His good work of casting out evil spirit was misinterpreted. Do I also misjudge and misinterpret others? Do I get discouraged when my work is criticized and unappreciated? Do I sincerely pray for increase of vocation to the priestly and religious life?

LET US PRAY
Thank you Jesus for giving me energy and good health for my work. Remove from me the demonic spirit of stony hard heartedness, envy and discouragement. Unmute the bottom that the ugly spirit of dumbness has activated in my life so that I can joyfully praise you. Help me to be loving and compassionate like you. Amen.
