REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OF 10TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME.
THEME: BE THE LIGHT.
BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI EHJ.
Mt 5: 13 – 16
I am created to be a point of light. I am sent to bring sweetness and joy to humanity. Salt is used for many things including preservation of food. Being salt means that I am called to preserve the holiness of the Church through righteous living. Why do I sometimes act otherwise? Why have I stopped to purify myself? Why have I not persevered in and preserve the good virtues I was taught? Do people see the reality of the Kingdom in me by my simple lifestyle?

LET US PRAY
Dear Jesus, thank you for calling me to become the best version of me. Let me realize that to be is more important than to do. Enkindle in me the desire to be the light and salt in my home and place of work. May all who encounter me see your bright radiance in my actions just as we see an illumined city on a hilltop. May I be remarkable in living out the life of fidelity and steadfastness. Amen.
