REFLECTION FOR THURSDAY OF 9TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME. (2)

REFLECTION FOR THURSDAY OF 9TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME.

THEME: THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI EHJ

Mk 12: 28b – 34.

I must listen to Jesus as he tells me that love of God and love of neighbour are very important. I must love God as to be able to make the sacrifice to always be present for spiritual activities. Everyone (the rich, the poor, the sick, the young, the old, men, women, children etc) need love. Love is the most effective medicine in the world. Do I find it easier to love God whom I cannot see than to love my neighbour?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, you are love itself, help me to listen to your words of wisdom. I give you my undivided love. Teach me to truly love my noisy neighbours, stubborn colleagues, selfish relatives, ungrateful friends, irritating neighbours, ugly peers, disobedient children, etc. Give me an understanding and loving heart towards them. Let me infuse some love into the society today by helping someone in need. Amen.
