HOMILY FOR WEDNESDAY OF 10TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME.

THEME: GOD’S LAW.

Mt 5: 17 – 19.

Jesus reminds me of the importance of the law of God. He says that he is not meant to erase these laws but to fulfil them. Do I have respect for God’s law of charity to the poor? Do I teach others about this law? Do I habitually break the rules and regulations of my home and establishment?

LET US PRAY
Lord God, your law is perfect. It is divine. You are telling me today that if I obey God’s laws and encourage others to do so, I will be the greatest in the kingdom. Please, help me and do not treat me as I deserve when I do not fulfill the commandments in a spirit of love. Please help me to learn the beauty of obeying your law, and be a law abiding citizen of my nation. Amen.
