REFLECTION FOR MONDAY OF 21ST WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME. (1)

REFLECTION FOR MONDAY OF 21ST WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME.

THEME: BEWARE OF THE BLIND GUIDES.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI EHJ.

Mt 23: 13 – 22.

Jesus wants me to recognize that God is the Ultimate, the most important. He wants me to change my thwarted habits and my wrong notion of worship. He expects me to give good guidance to those I lead. Are my actions done for the glory of God? Have I a misplaced priority? Do I mislead others? Do I follow the blind guides or those with good vision and foresight?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, I want to make you the reason, the focus and the final goal of all my actions. Help me to uphold the law and tradition as long as they promote the glory of your holy name. May I be a trustworthy guide to all who seek my help. Save me from the foolishness of placing the cart before the horse. Open my blind eyes to know that God is of greater worth than gold. Amen.
