REFLECTION FOR FRIDAY OF 12TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME. (2)

6TH SUNDAY HOMILY IN ORDINARY TIME - YEAR B

REFLECTION FOR FRIDAY OF 12TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME.

THEME: THE LEPER IS HEALED.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI EHJ.

Mt 8: 1-4.

Many people followed Jesus and a leper recognized his healing power, and humbly asked for help. What, and who is distracting me from following Jesus? Do I truly desire to be made clean from the leprosy of negative thinking? With what attitude do I make my prayer request? Like Jesus am I comfortable when no one is aware of my acts of love, care and mercy, or do I do them for public show and acclaim?

LET US PRAY
Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for your healing mercy on me. Give me the grace to follow you like the sunflower follows the sun. Make me clean from the leprosy of judging others with my standards instead of yours. Make my heart clean. Amen.
