HOMILY FOR JANUARY 3RD.
Jn 1: 29-34.
John is dedicated to his mission. He is truthful and humble. He testified to the baptism of Jesus and to him being the Lamb of God. Am I able to discern and know real and genuine people from fake ones? Do I contemplate Jesus as someone sent by God to save me? Do I strive to be gentle and meek as a lamb?

LET US PRAY
O Lord Jesus, the Lamb of God, give me the humility to see and affirm the good in others. Grant me newness of mind and spirit so that I may act with the gentility of a lamb even before those who attack me. May I be a good witness to the power of your Holy Name. Amen.
