REFLECTION FOR WEDNESDAY OF 13TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME.

THEME: THE TWO DEMONIACS.

Mt 8: 28-34.

The power of Jesus is absolute. His kindness is unmatched. He is ready to deliver me from evil. I must recognize him, and allow him to help me. Jesus’ mighty power can crush and destroy satan and his agents. What is satan attempting to ruin in my life right now? Do I pray for daily deliverance from the evils of the world? Have I allowed material needs to blur my sight to the spiritual wonders Jesus is doing for me and for people around me? Do I realize that some people may not be of economic benefit to me, but their presence give emotional and spiritual support to my existence?

LET US PRAY
Thank you Jesus for saving my soul from damnation. Please cast into hell fire any evil that seeks to attack me and my loved ones: discord, uncontrolled anger, envy, jealousy, malice, back biting, etc. Deliver me from all evil, and save my soul. Help me to appreciate your good works and healing mercy in the lives of others, to know that love, care and service is weightier, lovelier and sweeter than money. Amen.
