REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OF 17TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME.

THEME: THE VIRTUOUS WILL SHINE.

BY: SR. J. K.OSIYEMI EHJ.

Mt 13: 36 – 43.

I must be patient, and not too quick to condemn others. I also must know that in God’s Kingdom the good will always triumph over evil. Jesus makes it clear to me that I will shine in his Kingdom if I live a righteous life, but all evil acts shall face the music of blazing furnace. What negative ideas and vices are stifling my spiritual development? Do I seek to know the deeper meaning of situations and events through intense prayer and reflection?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, give me the humility to ask my Spiritual Guides for whatever clouds my understanding. Please, thrash away all my vices and limitations. Give me the grace to live a righteous life so as to merit a place in your Kingdom. On the last day may I be counted among the virtuous who will shine like sun. Amen.
