REFLECTION FOR MONDAY OF THE 5TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR I. (1)

REFLECTION FOR MONDAY OF THE 5TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR I.

THEME: JESUS THE HEALER.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI, EHJ.

Mk 6: 53-56.

The people recognized Jesus as a healer and consoler and came to him for help. Jesus diligently attended to them all. Do I bring my many troubles to Jesus in prayer? Do I perform my job with dedication and joy? Do people leave my presence feeling happier than when they came, or do their pain and sadness increase because of their encounter with me? Do people joyfully come to me when I am around or do they take to their heels?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, I stand in need of your help. I can do nothing without you. Heal my spiritual infirmities, and grant me the grace to work faithfully for your Kingdom. May I be an instrument of healing, care and love to those around me. Amen.
