Daily reflection for Thursday of 3rd Week in Ordinary Time Cycle II

Homily for Thursday January 27 2022

 

Mk 4: 21-25.

Today Jesus presents to me the principles of giving and receiving. So much has been given to me, therefore I am expected to give much. In this way I will receive more. To grow higher in faith and spirituality I must listen, obey, and respond practically to the Gospel message. Has the bush of complacency, and resentment hidden my light and prevented it from shining? What concrete effort am I making to study and understand the Word of God?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, may your light in me continue to shine brightly, and illuminate the darkness around me. May my life show others how to find God, and how to live for him. Teach me to sow good deeds and values so that I can reap heavenly blessings. May I see and understand more of your truth as I daily practice your teachings. Amen.
