Reflection for Wednesday November 24 2021

Luke 21:12-19.

I have graced moments to prove myself as a mature, firm and courageous Christian whenever my faith is tested. I must realize that life is not rosy and pain free all the time, but that God’s mercy and strength can carry me through all hurdles. Thank you Lord for speaking through me in times of persecution. Do I proactively handle family and workplace trials? Do I believe that Christ is standing by me no matter how difficult the situation is? Do I give pain or joy to those around me?

LET US PRAY
Dear Jesus, thank you for the blunt and plain words of the Scripture about what true Christians will experience. May I continually remember that you did not promise me a stress-free life, but the assurance of inner comfort, spiritual gain and eternal life. Help me to remain focused and calm in the midst of those who dislike my guts. Forgive me for making life difficult for others. Let me bear testimony to you in my words and actions. Amen.
