REFLECTION FOR WEDNESDAY OF 3RD WEEK OF EASTER.

THEME: EAT THE BREAD OF LIFE AND LIVE FOREVER.

Jn 6: 44 – 51.
Unless God himself draws me I cannot come to Jesus and understand his teaching to raise me up on the last day. In general, majority of people love to live well and avoid what can lead to death. Today, Jesus says He is the Bread of life that gives eternal life. Physical death will come, but my soul will live forever, provided I believe in Jesus and obey him. Do I follow the teachings and command of Jesus? Do I say personal prayers before and after communion?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, you are teaching me to understand the beauty and power of the Holy Eucharist through various means: revelation, homilies, books, etc. Help me Lord Jesus to appreciate that you have promised me eternal life. Everlasting life is a life steeped in the love and worship of God. Let me be grateful that you gave me the gift your body in the Holy Eucharist. Amen.
