REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OF THE 4TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR I. (2)

REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OF THE 4TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR I.

THEME: FAITH IN JESUS’ POWER.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI, EHJ.

Mk 5: 21-43.

I place my trust in Jesus like Jarius and the woman suffering from haemorrhage who were desperately in need of the healing power of Jesus. Jarius was patient in waiting while Jesus attended to the woman. He didn’t consider his need as greater than that of the woman. Jarius’ daughter was not just healed but was raised from the dead. The woman’s bleeding stopped immediately after touching Jesus’ garment. How strong is my faith in the healing power of Jesus? Do I touch the Cross, Bible, and other sacred things with reverence?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, power and energy come forth from you to heal and restore me to wholeness. You wanted the healed woman to reveal herself, not only to you, but also to the crowd so that you could hold her up as a paragon of faith. Deepen my faith in you, and help me to get up from living a sinful life of lies and deceit, to a new life of truthfulness and sincerity. Stop the flow of negative thoughts in me. Touch me just a little more o Lord my God. Amen.https://www.homilyhub.com/reflection-for-tuesday-of-the-4th-week-in-ordinary-time-year-i-2/
