REFLECTION FOR THE FEAST OF ST. LUKE.

REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OCTOBER 18 2022.

 

Lk 10: 1 – 9.

Jesus calls me to move out of my comfort zone to evangelize others. My actions: loyalty, truthfulness, gentleness can also win many souls for God. I am expected to be simple, peaceful and courageous. I can give emotional healing when I pray for, listen to, and give words of comfort to the distressed. Am I ready and willing to endure the challenges of a missionary?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, I want to be a faithful witness of your love, give me the pastoral zeal to tell the world about you. Relieve me of all the excess luggage of anger and worry that is upon my shoulder and is constituting an obstacle to being your authentic messager. Send more dedicated labourers to your church. May your kingdom be established in my heart. Amen.
