REFLECTION FOR SATURDAY OF 2ND WEEK OF EASTER. (1)

REFLECTION FOR SATURDAY OF 2ND WEEK OF EASTER.

THEME: DO NOT BE AFRAID.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI EHJ.

Jn 6: 16 – 21.

Jesus the powerful miracle worker walked on the sea. He told his disciples not to be afraid. I wish to know and recognize Jesus in times of storm and spiritual desolation, and at the times that I do not fully understand myself and doubt my reality. I am fearful. What am I afraid of? What is Jesus telling me today not to be afraid of? Do I realize that I need to believe that Jesus can walk with me through the storms and impossible experiences of life?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, I know that you can walk through, and solve any difficult life situation. Thank you for showing up in my life with your presence and mighty power when I was in the midst of strong wind and rough sea of life that almost engulfed me with discouragement and despair. Grant me the wisdom to understand that you are with me and I should never be afraid. I invite you Lord Jesus to walk on the remaining water of doubt that troubles me, to calm the tempest and waves of fear that is consuming me. Please write straight on the crooked lines of my life. Amen.
