REFLECTION FOR MONDAY OF THE 3RD WEEK OF LENT.
THEME: DISRESPECT.
BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI, EHJ.
Lk 4: 24-30.
Jesus’ uniqueness was not valued and recognized in Nazareth. He was not appreciated by the Pharisees because of contempt for his background. Have I respect for sacred places and things? Are there people I feel I know too well tthat I don’t have to listen to any advise from them? Do I think it is impossible that God could speak to me through such people? Do I realize that God’s ways do not follow the logic of the human mind, and that God can decide to favour anyone he chooses?

LET US PRAY.
Pardon me Lord Jesus for disrespecting people that are gifted just because of my over familiarity with them. Forgive my lateness to Church, pinging during Mass, Bible study, etc. Help me to respect your Word. Teach me Lord to value people around me. May gracious words flow from my mouth. Amen.
