REFLECTION FOR MONDAY OF 7TH WEEK OF EASTER. (2)

REFLECTION FOR MONDAY OF 7TH WEEK OF EASTER.

THEME: BE BRAVE. JESUS HAS CONQURED THE WORLD.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI EHJ.

Jn 16: 29 – 33.

Jesus wants me to be cheerful even though I cannot avoid the pain and suffering which may come my way in this life. He assures me that he has overcome the world, and all that would seek to keep me from his saving help and healing presence. His hand of mercy is laid upon my life to scatter and drive away all evil. Do I trust in Jesus when faced with troubles? Do I give help and enlightenment to those who do not know about the joy of living in the power of the Holy Spirit?

LET US PRAY
Jesus my Lord, you are omniscient. You are my Divine Creator. Nothing is impossible for you. Help me to be steadfast and never be faint hearted in the face of difficulties. Blow away the dust of fear and melt all my infirmities. Thanks to you dear Lord Jesus for giving me faith. Give me the courage and humility to ask for help in times of trial. Keep me going Lord through constantly sending me people who teach and update me on the essence of Christianity and who urge me on when it is hard to be cheerful. Amen.
