Theme: ABSOLVING THE VERY BEST

By: Rev Fr Joseph Nyarko Asare

Homily for Tuesday February 5 2019

(Heb 12:1-4/Ps 22:26-32/Mk 5:21-43)

Generous adults feed more than their children. They avail their love to both children and outsiders. God is the most generous personality we can encounter.

Jesus, being God, reflects Divine generosity. He does good to disciples and strangers alike. Even when He is ignored after a good deed, He goes ahead to do the next good deed. The only necessary step is to meet Him on the way. Once we encounter Him with expectation, we will depart with great news.

But it would be great to meet the Lord as a child than as a stranger. To be a child, we must detach ourselves from creation and get attached to God. When we do that, we will enjoy the meals of children and not just surplus generous offer.

PRAYER POINTS
~For better understanding of Jesus’ love
~That we can detach from creation ~For the grace to get hooked on Jesus
