INTRODUCTION
The readings for Wednesday of the 7th Week of Easter call us to serve others, live in unity, and stay faithful to God’s truth.
ABOUT THE FIRST READING
Our first reading this morning, Paul reminds the elders of his example of serving others with humility and hard work. He did not seek personal gain but gave himself fully to the mission God gave him. This kind of service reflects love in action, where the needs of others are placed above one’s own comfort or desires.

WHAT DO WE LEARN FROM THE FIRST READING?
Paul’s words challenge us to think about how we serve in our own lives. Whether it is through helping our families, contributing to our community, or supporting those in need, true service requires selflessness. It is not always easy, but it is a meaningful way to live out our faith.
ABOUT THE GOSPEL READING
In our Gospel reading for today, Jesus prays for His followers to be united as one, just as He is one with the Father. He knows that unity will help His disciples remain strong in their mission and faithful in the face of challenges. This unity is not just about working together but about being connected through love and shared purpose.
WHAT DO WE LEARN FROM THIS GOSPEL PASSAGE?
This reading, calls us to reflect on how we foster unity in our own communities. By listening, forgiving, and working together, we can overcome differences and grow stronger in faith. Unity helps us live as witnesses of God’s love, showing others the beauty of a life rooted in Him.
CONCLUSION
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we are reminded to follow Paul’s example of humility and dedication. By working for the good of others with a willing heart, we reflect the love of Christ. This kind of service strengthens relationships, builds up faith, and brings us closer to God.
We are reminded of the importance of humility, unity, and truth. May we ask God to guide us in serving others, building community, and staying grounded in His word as we live out our faith.
May the almighty God bless you, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!
Amen 🙏
