FROM OUR FIRST READING
Our first reading today warns us against envy. When we compare ourselves to others, we can feel frustrated or disappointed with what we have. Envy causes inner conflict, as we focus too much on what others have instead of being grateful for our own blessings. This can also lead to division and bitterness.
FROM OUR GOSPEL READING
Our gospel reading, remind us to use what we have been given wisely. In Proverbs, we are warned not to withhold good from others when it is in our power to give. We are responsible for helping those in need and sharing the resources we have, whether that is our time, talents, or material goods.
CONCLUSION
Dear friends in Christ, When we use what we have wisely, we grow in our relationship with God and others. We become better stewards of the blessings God has given us. The more we give, the more God will trust us with, whether it be spiritual or material. This is how we build a life that reflects God’s love and goodness.
When we embrace God’s plan, we can find peace and contentment. We can let go of jealousy and trust that God has something good for each of us.
Have a Blessed New week everyone. And may Padre Pio, Pray for Us
