Daily reflection for Wednesday of the 4th Week of Advent

Theme: MAGNIFY THE LORD

By: Sr. J. K. Osiyemi, EHJ

Reflection for Wednesday December 22 2021

Lk 1: 46 -56.

Mary’s magnificat calls me to exhibit attitudes of gratitude and praise to God first and foremost, and to people around me. Am I grateful to God for my specific vocation in life? Whenever I receive any small or big gift from anyone do I give praise to the giver through acknowledgement gratitude and appreciation? Do I feel too proud to praise people who deserve it? Do I joyfully sing of God’s goodness?

LET US PRAY.
Lord Jesus, I thank you for the gift of nature that surrounds me, the breath of life in me, my faith, family and friends. Teach me Lord to praise you and rejoice for all the good things I enjoy: air, water, food, shelter, clothing etc. I give you praise, glory and adoration. Amen.
