DAILY REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OF THE 1ST WEEK OF ADVENT.

THEME: KNOWING GOD.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI, EHJ.

Luke 10:21-24.

During the Advent season, the Church gives me more insight into knowing what the coming of Christ entails and what it requires of me. Jesus reveals to me today who God is like. God is loving, forgiving, caring etc. It is very important that I put into practice the values I see in Jesus. My know-it-all attitude must be thrashed during Advent. I need a child-like trust in Jesus. I must be humble and simple so that Jesus can use me more to do good works, and reveal more mysteries to me. Am I Christ-like in my attitudes? Am I Godly in speech and character? Do I desire to have a deeper relationship with the Trinity?

LET US PRAY
Thank you Jesus for revealing yourself to me as the Father, Son and Spirit. Thank you for my faith and my spiritual community. Thank you for the gift of spiritual insight in matters that are confusing. May I reflect your goodness everywhere I go. May all who encounter me see some notable Christian qualities in me. May my lifestyle inspire others to positive action. Amen.
