Daily reflection for the Solemnity of St. Joseph

Theme: JOSEPH, THE HUSBAND OF MARY

By: Sr. J. K. Osiyemi EHJ

Reflection for Saturday March 19 2022

Mt 1, 16, 18-21, 24.

Joseph is a just man, a man of great faith. He is just because he possesses very many virtues. Joseph is a good and charitable man, a model of obedience and justice. He loves Mary so much and did not want her exposed to public humiliation. Which of the virtues of St. Joseph is prominent in my life: Obedience? Love? Faith? Joseph cared for and watched over Mary and Jesus. Whom does God want me to care for? Am I righteous like Joseph?

LET US PRAY
Dear Jesus, may I always trust in your saving help, guidance, wisdom, and plan for my life. Give me some of the virtues of St. Joseph, your Guardian. Lord Jesus, I accept the awesome responsibility of caring for and protecting all those you have placed in my care. Grant me the strength to do so with great fervour. Grant me the wisdom to know what I must do and when I must do it. Amen.
