Reflection for Saturday March 5 2022

 

Lk 5: 27 – 32.

The Scribes and Pharisees were surprised and shocked to their bone marrow when Jesus called a tax collector to be his disciple and dined in his house. Jesus invites me also to follow Him because I am a sinner in need of healing of mind, soul and body. Am I really responding positively to the Lord’s call?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, thank you for calling me to follow you. Thank you for the Christian faith despite my unworthiness. I am neither spotless, nor perfect, but you have given me the oil of grace and the wine of love. Sustain in me a great readiness to respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
