Daily reflection for Monday of the 2nd Week of Lent

Theme: BE MERCIFUL

By: Sr. J. K. Osiyemi EHJ

Reflection for Monday March 14 2022

Lent. Lk 6: 36-38.

Jesus instructs me to be merciful, non-judgmental, non-condemning, forgiving and generous. Observing these commands can help me tremendously to live harmoniously with others. If I continuously find myself unable to do these and disliking a lot of people for no good reason, I should ask myself, “What’s wrong with me?” How have I been generous and helpful to the needy since the beginning of Lent? Who have I judged negatively in recent time?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, please make my heart like unto yours in mercy, generosity and forgiveness. Pardon me for judging and condemning others. Reward my effort in striving for perfection with baskets of abundant spiritual graces. Strengthen my resolve to be as merciful as the Father. Amen.
