Daily reflection for Monday after Epiphany

Theme: REPENT

By: Sr. J. K. Osiyemi EHJ

Reflection for Monday January 1 2022

Mt 4: 12 – 17, 23 – 25.

Jesus did not find the arrest of John a pleasant news, but he remained cool headed about it. He focused on his mission: preaching repentance and healing the sick. Do I know that the evil one rejoices when I am disturbed and irritated? Do I know that the devil rejoices when he distracts me with bad news?
LET US PRAY.
Help me Lord Jesus to overcome every obstacle so that I will have no reason to be sad. Let me be your follower who is resilient and strong. Give me the grace to totally repent and follow you. Amen.
