REFLECTION FOR FRIDAY OCTOBER 21 2022.
Lk 12: 54 – 59.
Jesus says it is important to know and be able to discern what the present time requires of me: love, peace, reconciliation etc. Do I pay attention to current situation around me? Am I aware of the needs of several unemployed youths, warring families, the terminally ill , etc?
LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, let me know that the right time to be forgiving, compassionate and loving is now. Give me the intuition and perception to know and avoid what will harm my spirit. May I be able to recognize and flee from actions that have dangerous and sinful consequences. Grant me the spiritual gift of discernment. Amen.
