Daily reflection for Friday of the 1st Week of Advent
Theme: GOOD SIGHT
By: Sr. J. K. Osiyemi, EHJ
Reflection for Friday December 3 2021
Matthew 9:27-31
Like the blind men I desperately and sincerely need the mercy of God, because I am sometimes myopic in the way I look at life’s challenges. Does pride blind me into wanting to have things done my own way all the time? Do I see and understand that the Advent wreathe helps me to prepare better for Christ’ coming?
LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, I believe you can restore my spiritual sight, yes, you can! Help me when I am blind to the happenings around me. Give me spiritual lenses so as to become more aware of the plight of those who need my help. Let my testimony about your goodness be told to my family and friends, and even via the social media. Amen.
