Reflection for Friday December 31 2021
Jn 1:1-28.
Right from the beginning of this world, Jesus has been in existence. He is part of the master plan. Jesus is the Word. He is also the Light. I must also strive to be a shining light to those around me through good behaviour. The great, but humble John the Baptist prepared the way for Him. Am I humble like Christ who took on human flesh and lived with us? Can I live with those who are not as blessed as I am? Am I amongst those who reject Jesus by my ungodly Christian attitude? Am I a light or darkness to others?
LET US PRAY
Thank you Creator God of light for everything done for me this year, and in the past years. Bless my future years with amazing graces and your abiding presence. Thank you for bringing me light, salvation and liberation from sin. Give me the grace to fully know and accept you as my omnipotent and almighty God. May you be praised and adored now and forever more. Amen.
