FROM OUR FIRST READING
In our first reading today, Ezekiel is told to eat the scroll given by God. This act shows that Ezekiel must accept God’s word fully and make it part of his life. By eating the scroll, Ezekiel demonstrates that God’s word should be internalized and lived out daily.
In the same reading, Ezekiel is also given the responsibility to share God’s message with the people. This reminds us that we, too, have a duty to spread God’s word. Just as Ezekiel spoke to the Israelites, we are called to share God’s teachings with those around us.

FROM OUR GOSPEL READING
In our gospel reading, Jesus speaks about not despising any of the little ones. This teaching highlights the importance of community and caring for each member. Jesus wants us to protect and respect the vulnerable among us.
Caring for each other means recognizing the value of every person. It involves looking out for those who may be overlooked or marginalized. We are therefore reminded of our duty to care for the “little ones” in our community.
CONCLUSION
Dear friends, Community care is about more than just meeting physical needs. It includes offering emotional and spiritual support as well. Today we are encouraged to build a caring and supportive community where everyone is valued and loved.
